Chick-fil-a

August first was the day of our return home from our camping trip, which conveniently was the day to support Chick-fil-a in light of the recent issue regarding Dan Cathy's stance on Biblical marriage.  We first stopped in Hagerstown, M.D at around 7:30 p.m. hoping to get dinner there.  We noticed some traffic and then realized that was just the line for the Chick-fil-a drive-through, which circled the building and wound out into the street.  The line of people waiting to get inside was at least a couple-hundred thick.

Since we didn't care to wait in such a long line, we drove off and stopped at the Chick-fil-a in Frederick, MD (this was now about 8:30p.m.).   Again there was a line of cars into the street and some people waiting outside.  Inside was extremely noisy (we had to yell to order) and cheerful.  After we ordered, we waited from 30-45 minutes then enjoyed our chicken sandwiches, peach shakes, and waffle fries.

I'm glad you all got to participate. I think it's wonderful that they had such an overwhelming show of support that day. I wish we lived close to a Chick-fil-a...
