At the Bible Bee we met lots of new friends from Alaska to Oklahoma to Maine.

| Jeannine made LOTS of friends and has begun writing letters. |
Joanna met a girl who is also doing CollegePlus! and they even have the same coach!
We enjoyed some great activities:
Mr. Keniv wrote/arranged a choir and orchestra performance called "The Word: A Modern Oratorio" which we all (except Jason) participated in.

Jason, Jeannine, and Julia took an art class from Doug McGuire, the illustrator of the B.B. Sword Study's "Day 10 Diagrams."
The younger kids enjoyed the Family Fun Area with rock climbing and other fun activities.
The Friday evening square dance was very fun - apparently everyone thought so, because it was very crowded!

Saturday night they had a celebration dessert which provided a good last opportunity to talk with Bible Bee friends.
We got to hear the Wissman family sing
...and Nathan Clark George
We also met part of the Bontrager family who also sing/play, though we didn't know that when we met them. :)

We also heard Brett Harris, and the Gettys sang at the Sunday morning worship service.
Beautiful Scripture Calligraphy banners and signs by Tim Botts were all over the hotel and convention center
Lest I forget to mention it, Jason's 12th birthday was on Wed. on our trip down, and Daddy's __ Birthday was on Saturday (we didn't quite forget!).

In closing, I love what one girl said about the Bible Bee: "It's like going to a family reunion, you just don't know who your family is going to be." And yes, we are all part of God's family!
