Wedding fun

Today our family participated in and helped with the wedding of a woman from our church.
The wedding was lots of fun and very encouraging and glorifying to God.
Janelle, Jessica, and I(Joanna) were delighted that the bride asked us to make some allergy-alternative food for herself and a few guests.  We often dream of helping with weddings and catering, so we were really excited about this.  We made a gluten, soy, egg, dairy-free cake for the bride and groom.
In addition, we baked rolls to accommodate for the same allergies as for the cake.

We also heated four roasts, two bags of frozen vegetables, and cut and arranged two trays of cheese and grapes.

We all felt honored that the bride asked us to help lead the congregation in singing a cappella.   We then helped serve the food, and clean up the church while enjoying what we call, "the fellowship of the kitchen."
