D.R. trip -- Jarabacoa

Monday, we got a really late start for Jarabacoa due to a mix-up with groceries, drivers getting lost, and too much luggage.  Two wonderful Dominicans, Patrick and Emanuel, joined us for the rest of the trip.  They added so much to our group and taught us a lot about the culture.  Emily and Andrew Knepper were sick during the drive.  We stopped at a nice outdoor restaurant and had chivo (goat) AMAZING!!

We spent Monday afternoon through Friday morning at someone's vacation home in the mountains of Jarabacoa doing lots of studies on Colossians and the heart, taking walks, singing, and playing games.
We got to work with the maids to make meals.  One of the maids was very struck by the songs we sang in Spanish, and Mrs. Raimundo shared the gospel with her.

We spent almost all our time on this wonderful porch.
