Labor Day

Monday started out with a drive to Purcellville with our 2 men and 3 men from the Yarashus family.  There they started out at the end of the W&OD trail and biked all the way to the beginning in Shirlington - 45 miles.  The trip took them... maybe 6 hours, I can't quite remember.  Mrs. Yarashus picked them up at the other end and brought them home.

That afternoon the little girls had a lemonade stand.  We have the perfect spot since we're so near the trail and have an uphill coming both ways to the stand!  This has been a tradition since Joanna, Jessica, and I were quite young - a good way to spark the entrepreneurial spirit and lean some business skills!

For the rest of us the day included:
- school planning for Mommy (we had started some things already, but there's always more to do)
- cooking a Western dinner for Jessica and Havalah Yarashus
- driving to Purcerville, pet sitting, and starting our new Signature Leadership class for CollegePlus! for Joanna and Janelle
The day ended with a fun Western party with the whole Yarashus family.  Zac posted about it on his blog here.
