Christmas Collage

This Christmas Season has been full of blessings in many forms. We especially enjoyed opportunities to play music and open our home. For lack of time to recount everything in detail, I will briefly summarize some of the things we did this Christmas season along with some pictures.

• Piano & flute recital and brunch with good friends (we didn't get any good piano picts.)

• Joanna, Jessica, and I played flute, violin, and piano at a friends' Christmas music party.

• Somewhere in there we had a "shearing party"

• We all visited some dear friends at their assisted living home and played and sang Christmas music. We enjoyed meeting some very interesting people!

• A few nights before Christmas we had a few neighbor families over to sing Christmas carols and eat cookies.
• On Christmas Eve, Joanna and I played in our Christmas Eve service at church.

• On Christmas day, we gave eachother gifts, ate a quiche breakfast at lunch time, and had 13 good friends spend the evening with us. We enjoyed fellowship, food, fun, and lots of singing.

• On Tuesday we went into D.C. to the National Gallery of Art.

• Wednesday, we went to Ft.McHenry after learning about the War of 1812 recently for history.

• On New Years' Eve we helped/participated in a party at church including an international dinner, talent show, and game night. Some of us played the piano during the dinner. For the talent show, we sang Psalm 144 as a family, Jason juggled rings, and Daddy sand in a barber shop quartet.
