This past weekend we again drove down to Colonial Williamsburg for part of the Home Educator's weeks. The admission is way cheaper and it's quite encouraging to meet other homeschooling families. We drove down Wednesday evening after soccer, and spent Thursday and Friday at Colonial Williamsburg.
Joanna, Jessica, and I wore the dresses we made, and Jessica bought a hat there, so she looked very fitting for the time period. Lot's of people took pictures of us. :)

We enjoyed many historical interpreters, most of whom did a wonderful job staying in character and time period and represented their figures very well.

The "Revolutionary City," a dramatic play to represent the happenings of the revolutionary times, was a highlight for all of us.
This Revolutionary War chaplain led the whole a few hundred people in praying the Lord's Prayer. What a blessing!
We also enjoyed dinner with Daddy's sister and two of our cousins on Thursday night.
