We spent most of Saturday cooking, baking, and wraping gifts to mail out.

Currently (Wednesday), we have gingerbread cookies in the oven, and Jeannine and Julia are helping Jessica label Christmas cards.
We've been busy with Christmas activities too: Monday was filled with 3 Chrismas parties: We went strait from our piano recital/brunch with a few other homeschool families to a work party. In the evening 3 families came to our house for caroling, cookies, and games while the moms had a homeschool group pot luck (or "pot blessing" as some like to call it).
Still, we need to constantly remind ourselves of the true reason we celebrate Christmas:
Why lies He in such mean estate,
Where ox and ass are feeding?
Good Christian, fear; for sinners here,
The silent Word is pleading.
Nails, spear, shall pierce Him through;
