A Sweet Visit

For our second Spring Break vacation, our family drove seven hours down to Charlotte, North Carolina to visit our friends the Toms. They used to live in Herndon and participated in our home school group and church. In October, they moved to Charlotte to be near family. We arrived Friday to homemade pizza. On Saturday, Mrs. Toms' father, who lives next door, showed us around his orchard. We then went to a park where we played soccer, took a little hike, and had devotions. On Sunday they graciously welcomed us into their family gathering for Easter and Mrs. Toms' mother's birthday party. We left on Monday sad to be leaving but thankful for a wonderful and encouraging time. We had many great discussions and simply fun times. Thank you Toms family for your gracious and welcoming hospitality. We had a FABULOUS time!
