And then at home… :)
After our traditional Christmas Eve-ning special snack(chèvre-cherry turnovers & kombucha) we tried something new which will most likely become it's own new tradition. It was our favorite thing we did all Christmas. We all gathered in the living room, lit only by candles, and each lit our own candle. We each took turns reading Christmas poems (and a couple Christmas songs) we wrote over the month. Wow. It was exciting to hear each person's perspective into the real meaning of Christmas - each so different, so deep and moving.
Christmas morning we have a tradition that the parents hide our stockings and then we have to find them all over the house. They're always harder to find than we expect! :)

Then we had company from church (a fun variety of people;) for dinner, singing, games, and visiting - sorry, I didn't take pictures… :P
