Easter Sunrise Service in DC

For the first time, we attended the Sunrise Service in DC which has been happening for 33 years. The sunrise was truly gorgeous and it was encouraging to join with so many Christians to celebrate Christ's resurrection! It was well worth waking up before 5am... though we were a little tired by the end of the day!

I'm not good at estimating, but there were over 2,000 people there.

Ducks on the Tidal Basin are so picturesque...

The rest of the day we spent at the morning and evening services at church and with 14 guests in between.

He is risen indeed!
