Point Lookout

At the beginning of April (Easter weekend) we went camping at Point Lookout State Park in MD. Friday, when we arrived we ate a picnic lunch on the Chesapeake beach.

Saturday we took a easy hike while we waited for the sun to come out from the clouds. birdhouse

Next we headed over to the Potomac River beach.

Our great-uncle lives near the campground, so we visited his church and then ate lunch at his retirement community's dining room.

We all enjoyed the buffet... a little too much.

We came back to the campground and enjoyed the beach (again).

We had quite an enjoyable time relaxing in such a beautiful location.
