Sooo.... what's happening with the bunnies after so long? Well, after posting adds on Craig's List (and trying some other things too) and lots of prayers we have sold 4 bunnies!!! Both buyers were from Craig's list, and both bought two bunnies.
The first is a man who has two Pygmy goats and some peacocks in his back yard (yes he lives nearby). He said he has a big hutch, and I guess he wanted unusual rabbits. He didn't know they had to be sheared, but didn't seem too concerned. At least he knows livestock. He bought Nugget and Daffodil Daisy (boy and girl) and is going to keep them together even though we told him they could have a litter a month (not even thinking about the babies' babies). He said he'd have a lot of bunnies for us (as if we weren't trying to get rid of ours already) we didn't encourage that. But anyway, that was a little concerning, but they're his now.

In the next 24 hours another person had contacted us and taken home 2 with her. We feel so much better about her. She's a mother of 5, and when she saw Jeannine and Julia and her 7-year-old each holding a bunny she decided she had to get 2 so that they could have a bunny party. She has already called us 3 times with questions (which shows she cares). We are very thankful for the people we can ask if we don't know the answers. :) She said the bunnies are so happy together and that the whole family LOVES them. She bought Elanor and Cocoa (2 GIRLS).

Now we have a total of 6 rabbits (which we have to shear) -- so much better than 10. We only want to sell Peter and (possibly) Truffles now.
