Jeannine had a great birthday, celebrating every way she had planned to. At supper when daddy said that she was officially six, she replied with, "Absolutely Six!"
Some of her gifts were:
- Pretty Blue (a Beta fish)
- a doll she named Nora Sprinkles Grove
- matching skirts for herself, Nora, and Julia
- a Lego set
She comments afterwards, "The day was like a day of pretty flowers."
